Click to see larger image of the apartment. Location of the Apartment The Synagogue Apartment is located in the heart of Budapest, in the old Jewish quarter. This is where the gates of the Jewish ghetto used to be. Today this is one of the prime locations in Budapest, close to the Astoria and Deak ter metro stations. The apartment is on the corner of Rumbach and Wesselenyi streets, you can see the garden of the Dohany utca Synagogue from the window. The newly reopened Rumbach Synagogue is also a few meters away.
