Not far from Esterhaza, the train speeds past their noble estate in Nagyczenk, the Castle Count Szechenyi. It is the seat of that famous family to which the Nation is indebted for "the greatest Hungarian" Count Stephen Szechenyi (died 1860). In a simple Mausoleum rest the earthly remains of this Regenerator of Hungary, magnificent avenue of lindens leads to the shore of the Neusiedler Lake, the surroundings of which are rich in vines, among others the famous Rusgh brand, and other natural products.
