Next we arrive at Gyor (Raab) a flourishing industrial town. The Inner Town, distinguished by the regularity of its construction, existed already in 1271; it contains several important structures, among which are the Bishop's Castle with the beautiful Doczy Chapel, and the Episcopal Church with the Hedervary Chapel, containing the famous silver helmet of St. Ladislaus. In the newer parts of the Town, we find the ornamental building of the Townhall and several beautiful Renascence houses of the 16th Century.
